Imports Repaired & Bug Reporting

Imported lists now carry the weapons you actually chose, and you can send a bug straight to the team from inside the app — screenshots included.

Importing

Imported units keep their real loadouts

Lists imported from any source — other army builders, BattleScribe files, or Warmind's own exports — were falling back to default weapons for a large share of units. Squads whose options are separate model entries, like Blightlord Terminators with their heavy weapons, now rebuild exactly as written: the right models, the right guns, the right count. Attached leaders, enhancements and detachments come across as before.

No more phantom wargear

A squad's standard-issue kit is no longer mistaken for optional upgrades during an import, so units stop arriving with gear they never had. Every datasheet in the game was round-tripped through export and import to confirm nothing drifts.

Bug Reporting

Report a bug without leaving Warmind

Tap the new bug icon in the app header (or beside Settings), or the Report button in the web builder's top bar. Choose Bug, Data issue or Suggestion, describe it, and optionally leave a Discord handle or email. Your platform, app version and current screen ride along automatically so it can be reproduced — and reports go straight to the team.

Attach screenshots

Add up to three images to any report, including animated GIFs, with thumbnails you can remove before sending. The confirmation tells you exactly how many attachments arrived. On phones, screenshots are picked through the file browser for now — picking straight from your camera roll arrives with the next app store release.

The Battle Command Update

A major pass over Battle Mode — smarter card choices, army rules that fire on time, redesigned army sheets, and faster roster building. App updates apply automatically the next time you restart; the web builder is already live.

Battle Mode

Battles no longer stall on card choices

Card choices, swap offers, rule pickers and reminders now open strictly one at a time. This fixes battles that could lock up after answering a choice at the start of a turn, and a separate Android crash that could blank the app when changing rounds.

The right player makes every pick

Cards whose rules hand a decision to your opponent — Marked for Death targets, A Tempting Target's objective — now route to their device in linked play. In solo play you record both sides' picks yourself, and choice popups that can't be answered yet no longer block the battle.

Burden of Trust, on the map

Assign guards by tapping the objective map. Numbered markers match the guard list, each unit can guard one objective, and tapping an assigned unit again clears it. Attached units now count as the single unit they are here — and in Marked for Death and Beacon — so picking the leader brings the whole unit.

Every army rule, on time

The timing of every army and detachment rule was audited. Oath of Moment and over a dozen other rules get their own pickers, mandatory actions like Reanimation Protocols pop a reminder at the right moment, and stratagem buttons grey out when they're not legal — New Orders included, which now waits for your Command phase.

Battle Setup

Who is Defender?

Record the roll-off at setup. It's saved with the battle report, and your stats now split win rates as attacker versus defender.

Armies at a glance

Both full army lists are viewable straight from setup behind faction-art buttons, and Battle Ready now starts checked — untick it if the army isn't painted.

Army Lists

Redesigned army sheets

The in-battle army list got a full redesign: faction banner art, accent theming, stat chips, warlord tags and attached-unit grouping. On the web builder, the battle screen now shows both armies side by side with core stratagems, army rules and detachments open for reading alongside.

Roster Building

One-tap weapon swaps

Units with split weapon pools get an ALL button per option — switch the whole squad in one tap instead of twenty, then still fine-tune with plus and minus. Squads also keep your chosen weapons when you resize them or toggle wargear.

Enhancements by the book

Enhancement and upgrade selection now enforces the full official rules everywhere — character restrictions, uniqueness, detachment matching and upgrade limits — including on imported lists.

Datasheet corrections

Terminator Assault Squad storm-shield wounds, the Space Wolves Venerable Dreadnought's greataxe and blizzard shield loadout, Canoptek fixes, datasheets that host two Leaders, and more.
